Scholarship Mountain View
WHAT:
Scholarship Mountain View is a scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to pursue post-secondary education.
WHEN:
The application period for students is open from late December 2024 until February 28, 2025. Scholarship recipients are selected in April. Scholarship checks are sent upon students providing proof of enrollment.

HOW SCHOLARSHIP MOUNTAIN VIEW IS DISTINCT:
Scholarship Mountain View recognizes that post-secondary education is the single most powerful action students can take to succeed, so we honor all programs - be they community college, university, trade school, or special training. We also appreciate that today’s education costs include food, housing, transportation and other needs, so use of funds is not limited to just tuition.
Qualifications:
Mountain View, California resident
Senior attending one of our local high schools
Minimum grade point average of 2.5
Service: Applicant participates in projects and activities outside the realm of work and formal education or shows a willingness to serve his or her school, friends, family or community
Goals & Objectives: Applicant demonstrates that they are developing a sense of purpose in their present life, as well as for the future by setting goals and objectives focused on a career path
Applicant shows commitment for furthering their education at a college (2 year or 4 year) or trade school. It is preferred that they have already submitted applications to these institutions.
Financial Need: Demonstrate that the scholarship addresses an economic hardship.
